LOOK AT THAT AMAZING WOMAN! SHE IS SO READY TO POP OUT BABY#4! Obviously this post is a little more adult themed with childbirth references so beware! (No gory pictures, no don't worry! I wouldn't be alive and writing this if I was that stupid.)

It's induction day! WooHoo! I know, I know we're only at kiddo #4, and many of you fellow bloggers and readers have like 6+ it seems. How do you have time to blog??? Or even take out your phone or sit at your computer??? Maybe you read at work? Get back to work! No, seriously, I'm just kidding. Read my blog instead. It's much more fun than working. Maybe you read while in the car? What are you thinking? Pay attention to the road! Just don't forget to read me later. Don't forget to follow me on Twitter @Meant2Dad or Meant2Dad on Facebook! So it's Friday, and I missed posting last week, so HERE WE GO! Ba, da, da, da, da duh da... (always liked that song)

~1~

Boo, JMan, and Squish were all quite excited last night to know that at some point today, they'll get to come to the hospital and visit their new brother. Yes, we know it's a boy. Yes, we're nerds like that. We have to know. We don't fault those hubbys and wifeys who don't want to know. We respect and admire your patience. We just want to know if we have to develop a whole new wardrobe and such. So hooray for hand-me-downs! Hooray for recycled shoes, shirts, shorts!

~2~

Now, before you ask questions like, "Induction? Eck!" or "Why not natural, or home birth?" I have a 10.5 lbs answer. That was the Squish's birth weight, and ladies I'm sure you know that the largekin gets to 11lbs or more it's like auto C-section time. The hole is only so big. Each little guy has been less "little," and their noggins seem to rival a small watermelon. Baby4 already measuring rather large based on ultrasound, so yeah, you go ahead and try to push that out. Guys, if your wife wants natural at home, that's fine. If she wants the hospital, epidural, and the works. She gets the works!

Steph and I firmly believe that God blessed us with talented and caring people like doctors and nurses, and He blessed us to live in a place where we have great healthcare facilities, great women's centers, etc. We also firmly believe that God's plan for human beings isn't to be in pain. Yeah, we know what he told Eve. He told her it would be painful. He didn't tell her to "Suck it up."

And now for my favorite quotes from my wife during childbirth.

~ 3 ~

"It's really uncomfortable not being able to wear underpants." Hahaha. Umm, as if it's comfortable to push a child out your....? Followed up by, "And there's the rest of my water breaking..."

~ 4 ~

When I asked her what did it feel like for the doctor to try to break your water? She replied, "Imagine someone shoving their fist up your butt, and punching you in there. Repeatedly."

OW.

~ 5 ~

"Can I have the epidural? Can I? Can I have the epidural now?" Pharmacalogical world according to Stephi dictates that epidurals should be administered at 1cm dilated, not 4.

~ 6 ~

"Please don't post any pics of me during childbirth on your blog." I won't. Because...

~ 7 ~

So I'll post more later. Hopefully happy baby pics!
