And, it's about that time. Three more weeks and new baby will be here! I sometimes look back and cannot believe how much they've grown. Boo:

or JMan

and even Squish

And SO... I'm going to do it. Human life > lion life. 'Nuff said.

AND with major all caps, a meme I created - yeah, favorited by Jennifer Fulwiler today. #MADEMYDAY #JENROCKS. Tribute to St. Cajetan whose feast day is Aug 7th.

And another meme I found rather amusing, seeing as after Boy #4 arrives, we'll have a baptism.

And so I watched the GOP debates last night. Was anyone annoyed with the rhetoric as you are with my ands yet? Sorry, just in a pesky mood I guess. It befuddles my mind that the Trump is so large and in charge. Was nice to hear them stand up for life though. Be scared Planned Parenthood. Be scared!

And I cannot bring myself to watch any of the videos being released. Not because I'm scared, but because I think I'll be scarred. Look, as a Catholic dad one of our jobs is to protect life right? Protect our wives and children? "The family is the original cell of social life." Catechism 2207.
And who says the Catholic Church never says anything political. Check out Catechism 2211! "The political community has a duty to honor the family, to assist it..."
I also love how deep the Church gets when it talks about the role of parents that good ol' sex and love isn't just about procreation, and we can't JUST be focused on things like abortion, but equally important is our duty to morally EDUCATE and spiritufally form that life. The Church uses words like primordial (how Jurassic!) and inalienable (how Constitutional!) when describing this right and duty to educate our children. (Catechism 2221) Notice the Church chose spiritual EDUCATION as a father and mother's primary function, especially instilling the love of the Lord in children at an early age.
I give lots of credit to Stephi here. If there's ever a bump in the rock I'm supposed to be, she's the hardcore polisher who gets me to the point where the tough moment, tough concept or just tough time, gets ground and polished out.

Oh, AND one more thing! Thought I'd forget didn't you?
Let those of us who have been called to bring forth much life into the world never judge those who might have been called to only bring forth 1 or 2 lives, or none. Noble is the cause to care for parents, or siblings, or relatives. Respect those called to a religious vocation, or those who may have situations and medical conditions that deny them the ability to bring forth life. The large family can run with the small and vice versa, whatever the composition of that small is.
Growing up, it was just my sister and me. It doesn't mean our folks weren't as Catholic or as devoted as the larger Catholic families. It just means I probably received more individualized education than y'all, hah! So there! Just kidding. Well that's actually true about receiving the individualized focus for seven and a half years later when my sister came around and ruined everything. Because I knew she would do something like this...

Just kidding Bubby. Love ya.
