It's been a busy week! Our school had an auction/gala last weekend, and one of the prizes parents can "bid" on is an adventure/fun field trip for your kiddo for $25. So J-Man got to take his field trip to an adult-sized table in his Pre-K building, permission slip and all! J-Man thoroughly enjoyed being a master cupcake decorating chef. Future Cake Boss? I think so... if you like copious amounts of frosting, and delight in sucking down excess sprinkles and sugar. Stephi gives them quite high reviews for his first attempt! Then again, she's sweet, likes sweet things. You get the picture.
Boo (middle picture below) brought home 18, count 'em 18, construction paper hearts that they receive for making good choices at school. The hearts were accompanied by, as he discerned, "One apple, or tomato... I'm not really sure, Dada." I say tomato, you say, apple? Right?
Sir Squish had a very exciting week that included daily running up and down the house as fast as his squishy little self could dash. Sometimes with toys. Sometimes with cool dude shades.

So, I work for the Catholic Church. I'm a Parish Business Manager. It's fun. I get to work where my oldest two go to Catholic school, have been there 10+ years. It goes by quickly. Sure, there's good days, hard days, fast days and slow days. One day, as the weekly collection was counted, I had this funny idea to take some pictures for our inside nicknames of the many ways our folks fold up their $ bills and cram them into their envelopes, a.k.a. Offertory Origami. We appreciate each and every tithe believe you me! We have so many generous people at our parish. No need to worry, all funds were appropriately deposited and verified by at least 5 staff members. The first is a classic, "THE FACE."

Then there's "THE APPOINTMENT." We sincerely hope Janice was not stood up for her date two nights ago. Or some guy out there seriously wishes he remembers the name of his Friday night date. Rough luck...

We call this style, "TOUR D' D.C." Not often we get the trifecta in one envelope.

Being from Florida, where this industry was once alive and well, we call this one "THE CIGAR."
And remember kids, smoking is not good for you!

~ 6 ~
There's the, "MOUNTAIN RANGE" to the left, and "THE CLIFFHANGER" to the right.

And finally, there's "WHERE'S GEORGE?"

and our personal favorite, "THE SNEAKY BENJAMIN."
